The offer types, and which ones can use your own link
Every offer type in plain words, and the three that let you keep your own checkout or signup link
Every offer you create has a type. The type tells your agents what you are asking someone to do — book a call, buy something, register, start a trial, or join.
The type also decides one important thing: whether you can send people to your own link, or whether Clients.ai handles the checkout for you.
The offer types
- Free consultation — a free call. People book a time with you.
- Paid consultation — a call people pay for before they book it.
- Low-ticket offer — a small first purchase, usually under $50.
- Webinar or workshop — a live or recorded training people register for.
- Trial — a free or paid trial of your product.
- Book — a book or ebook people buy.
- Demo or VSL — a video that shows your product, with the option to buy underneath.
- Community — a membership, group, or community people join.
- Quiz — a short quiz people take first. Your Quiz Agent creates the quiz link for you.
The three that can use your own link
Webinar, Trial, and Community.
With those three, the thing you are sending people to already lives somewhere else — your webinar platform, your own software, your own community. Your link is how people get in, so Clients.ai does not need to replace it.
For those three you choose: keep your own link, or turn on AI funnels and let Clients.ai host the checkout instead.
The ones that always use Clients.ai checkout
Paid consultation, Low-ticket offer, Book, and Demo. Once these have a price, the payment runs through Clients.ai. There is nothing to link out to — the purchase is the thing itself, so Clients.ai takes the payment, offers the add-on, and delivers what they bought.
The two that use neither
Free consultation always sends people to a booking link, so it never uses a checkout at all. Quiz always uses the quiz link your Quiz Agent creates for you.
The choice only appears once there is a price
A free webinar, a free trial, and a free community have nothing to check out, so no choice appears. Add a price and the AI funnels switch shows up.
