AI funnels: when Clients.ai runs your checkout, and when your own link does
What the AI funnels switch does, what happens to your own link, and how to switch back
AI funnels is the switch that decides who takes the money.
- Off — people go straight to your own link. Your page, your checkout, your signup.
- On — people go to a checkout page Clients.ai builds and hosts for you, written fresh for every lead from their own conversation.
You will find the switch on the Conversion tab of a Flow, next to your offer.
What happens to your own link when you turn it on
Nothing is lost. Your link is saved, and you can see it right under the switch — it tells you your own link is saved and not in use, and shows you the link itself.
While AI funnels is on, people pay at your Clients.ai checkout instead. Turn the switch off and they go back to your link.
What turning it off does to the rest of your funnel
Order bumps, upsells, and downsells only work inside the Clients.ai checkout. If you send people to your own link instead, those steps stop running for new leads.
They are not deleted. Everything you set up stays exactly as it is, and turning AI funnels back on starts it again. If you have any of those steps set up, Clients.ai asks you before switching and tells you which ones will stop.
Which offers have this choice
Webinar, Trial, and Community offers. Every other type either always uses Clients.ai checkout or never uses one. See The offer types for the full list and the reason behind it.
Before it can go live
AI funnels takes real payments, so it can only go live once your payouts are connected. If they are not connected yet, Clients.ai asks you to finish that first.
