In brief
She was charging $900 for a job that produced the client $18,000. I watched her wince when I said that out loud and then keep the price the same anyway Here’s the thing - most pricing systems look at tasks not outcomes.

Here’s the thing - most pricing systems look at tasks not outcomes. So your CRM, your proposals, even your ads are quietly training buyers to see low value (and you to accept it)
I saw this with a solo designer I work with at Clients.ai. She tracked one client properly and found three hidden value buckets she hadn’t billed for: strategy time, implementation risk mitigation, and the recurring revenue lift her work created. That one client alone justified doubling her project fee
If you want a quick check you can run in 30 minutes today try this
- Step 1: pick 2 recent projects and write down actual client outcomes (revenue, time saved, new customers) not tasks
- Step 2: estimate what that outcome is worth to your client over 6 months (conservative number ok)
- Step 3: add a line item for outcome value and test a 25 - 50% anchor increase on the next proposal
Do this and two things happen fast: prospects stop negotiating based on line items, and you stop leaving real value on the table
If you want me to look at your pricing signals I’ll build a short custom audit for you - we’ll scan your pricing page, two proposals, and 30 days of leads and show 3 real price moves you can make this week
Tap like and DM SMART PRICE AUDIT and I’ll send it (I’ll actually look at your profile and make it about your offers, not a generic checklist)
