No, it's not delegation's fault

In brief
No, it's not delegation's fault. I was mid-rebuild - hands in the stack - when an old client came back with the same problem in a totally new shape and it hit me how often "delegate more" is used as a slogan not a strategy.

We'd been handing off chunks, tracking outcomes in a spreadsheet,
And calling it leverage - (spoiler - spreadsheets don't own outcomes).
What that routine buys you:
1) Behavior → faster task completion, less of your time.
2) Meaning → a feeling of scale without accountability.
3) Cost & Correction → brittle delivery and churn - fix - design ownership around outcomes, not tasks (assign a single owner, tighten the acceptance criteria, automate the repeatable checks).
I know that sounds obvious - it's the thing I shrugged off in my Notes app until the client reminded me (humble brag - learned the hard way). The correction is boring and boring is powerful.
DM "DELEGATION TRADEOFFS WORKSHEET" for a custom worksheet I'll send back - quick, practical, and specific to your stack.
