In brief
If I were starting again today I'd stop buying more traffic and fix the decision points that actually make people say yes. Most founders default to one short-term move: cut follow-up to save time and ad dollars. That feels smart now and costs you later.

If I were starting again today I'd stop buying more traffic and fix the decision points that actually make people say yes.
Most founders default to one short-term move: cut follow-up to save time and ad dollars. That feels smart now and costs you later.
What it actually does: fewer touches → lower booking rate. In my runs a 5-touch sequence converts around 12% and a 2-touch around 6% - roughly half the clients. Example: with a $2,000 average client and 100 leads/month that swing can mean about 6 fewer clients, or ~$12,000/month.
Three practical fixes you can do this week:
1) Add 3 automated touches across days 1 - 14 (short email, SMS, conditional ad) - target a +4 - 6pt booking lift.
2) Qualify one question earlier to boost show rate ~20%.
3) Shift 25 - 30% of ad spend into retargeting for non-bookers - lower CPMs, higher ROI.
