Creating your first agent flow
Step-by-step guide to building your first automated Flow
Ready to build your first AI-powered Flow? Follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to flows
Log in to Clients.ai and navigate to the "Flows" section in the sidebar. Click "Create Flow" to begin.
Step 2: Pick your first offer
Choose the first offer your Sales Agent will present. Select ONE per Flow:
- Free Consultation Funnel
- Paid Consultation Funnel
- Low-Ticket Funnel
- Webinar / Workshop Funnel
- Trial Funnel
- Book Funnel
- Demo / VSL Funnel
- Community Funnel
Step 3: Add the offer details
Add the link or details needed for that offer: your booking link, webinar registration page, book page, trial signup, or community link. Your Sales Agent learns what each lead needs, then adapts how this offer is presented to each one.
Step 4: Drag in your agents
You'll see three columns in the builder:
Traffic agents (left column)
Drag in the channel you want to use:
- LinkedIn Agent - Posts content, finds prospects, and runs Sales Agent DMs
- Instagram Agent - Runs Instagram content and DM outreach when connected
Click the agent card to open its cockpit. The main sections are promo, content, and people. Sales Agent conversation settings live on the Conversion Agent for this offer, not in this cockpit.
Conversion agents (middle column)
Drag in the funnel that matches your first offer:
- Free Consultation Funnel - Books you calls
- Paid Consultation Funnel - Books you paid calls
- Low-Ticket Funnel - Sells low-ticket offers
- Webinar / Workshop Funnel - Fills your webinar
- Trial Funnel - Gets trial signups
- Book Funnel - Sells your book
- Demo / VSL Funnel - Sells with your demo
- Community Funnel - Grows your community
The Sales Agent talks with each lead, learns what they need, then adapts how your offer is presented to each one. Click the funnel to adjust the offer, checkout or booking step, upsells, downsells, and thank-you page.
Nurture agents (right column)
Drag in agents that follow up over time:
- Cart Recovery Agent - Follows up automatically with people who started a checkout or booking but did not finish
Every Flow also includes ongoing email follow-up for leads who do not buy or book yet, timed and worded to fit the conversation each lead already had with your Sales Agent.
Step 5: Configure agent settings
Click the gear icon on any agent to adjust:
- Traffic Agents: promo and content settings
- Conversion Agents: first offer, checkout or booking, upsell, downsell, thank-you steps, and Sales Agent conversation settings
- Nurture Agents: an Urgency slider (1-5) and a Special Instructions box — the same two settings for every agent in this column
Use the "Special Instructions" box to give plain-English instructions:
- "Make posts sound more casual"
- "Add more urgency toward the end of the sequence"
- "Focus on ROI in headlines"
Step 6: Test your flow
Before you launch, check:
- The Traffic Agents tab for content and promo settings
- The Conversion Agents tab for the first offer, checkout or booking, upsells, downsells, thank-you page, and Sales Agent conversation settings
- The Nurture Agents tab for email follow-up
- The Analytics view for reporting once activity starts
Make any final adjustments.
Step 7: Launch
Click Launch. Your Flow is now live.
What happens next
- Traffic Agents begin posting, prospecting, and warming people up
- Sales Agent starts conversations and learns what each lead needs
- Conversion Agents provide the funnel for the offer
- Nurture Agents queue email follow-up for people who do not buy or book yet
- All activity appears on your Dashboard in real-time
- Leads flow into your Leads page as they enter the system
You can pause or stop the Flow anytime using the toggle on the Flows page. You can also edit Agent settings on the fly without disrupting the Flow.
Repeat for additional flows
Create multiple Flows for different offers, audiences, or products. Each Flow operates independently with its own Agents and tracking.
Your first Flow is now working 24/7 to bring you new clients!
