Learn how to configure Agent settings, test Flows, and optimize for better results.

Tuning Your Agent Behavior

To refine and expand your Agents' training in Clients.ai, follow these steps:

Review and Update Training Data

  1. Click your profile icon (top right corner)
  2. Review your company information
  3. Verify your target audience details
  4. Add or update testimonials
  5. Adjust your offers and target action URLs
  6. Specify brand voice and tone

This information trains all your Agents automatically. The more detail you provide, the better your AI-generated content.

Tuning Your Agent Behavior

In your Flows:

  1. Click on a Flow
  2. Click "Configure" to see your agent builder
  3. Write plain-English guidelines in the "Overrides" section of any agent

For example:

  • "Use more storytelling in emails"
  • "Keep posts under 200 characters"
  • "Emphasize ROI over features"
  • "Sound friendly but professional"

Traffic Agent Settings:

Click the gear icon on any Traffic Agent to adjust:

  • Posting frequency (how many per day/week)
  • Time of day for posts
  • Content type (text, article, image)
  • Whether to include intentional typos for human feel

Conversion Agent Settings:

Click the gear icon on any Conversion Agent to adjust:

  • Landing page branding and colors
  • Headlines and copy style
  • Form fields to collect
  • CTA button text
  • Level of urgency (1-5 scale)

Follow-Up Agent Settings:

Click the gear icon on any Follow-Up Agent to adjust:

  • Email sequence timing
  • Scarcity and urgency level (1-5 scale)
  • Tone (friendly, formal, casual, professional)
  • Specific overrides for any email in the sequence

Monitor Performance & Iterate

  1. Go to a Flow's detail page
  2. Click the "Stats" tab to review lead interactions
  3. See what's converting and what's not
  4. Return to Agent Settings to make adjustments

Use the "Test" or "Simulate" buttons before going live to preview exactly what leads will see.

Schedule Regular Refreshes

Treat Agent training as an ongoing process:

  • Weekly or monthly, review agent performance
  • Add new testimonials or case studies as you get them
  • Update offers when pricing changes
  • Refine messaging based on what's working

As your business evolves, mirror those changes in your Agents' training. Your Agents will continuously test and improve on their own, but you can always make manual adjustments when you spot opportunities.
