What are leads?

Learn how leads are captured, stored, and managed in Clients.ai

A Lead is someone who enters one of your Flows: through a form, booking step, checkout step, DM conversation, or imported list.

Lead data includes

  • Contact information - email, name, website
  • Source Flow - Which Flow they came from
  • Submission date - When they entered the Flow
  • Form responses or conversation context - What they shared
  • Engagement history - Emails opened, links clicked

Lead sources

Leads come from:

  • Your Flow funnels
  • Sales Agent conversations
  • Checkout or booking steps
  • Native forms
  • CSV imports (existing lists)

Lead engagement

For each lead, you can track:

Lead status

Leads can have different statuses:

  • New - Just entered a Flow
