What are leads?
Learn how leads are captured, stored, and managed in Clients.ai
A Lead is someone who enters one of your Flows: through a form, booking step, checkout step, DM conversation, or imported list.
Lead data includes
- Contact information - email, name, website
- Source Flow - Which Flow they came from
- Submission date - When they entered the Flow
- Form responses or conversation context - What they shared
- Engagement history - Emails opened, links clicked
Lead sources
Leads come from:
- Your Flow funnels
- Sales Agent conversations
- Checkout or booking steps
- Native forms
- CSV imports (existing lists)
Viewing leads
Go to Leads in the sidebar to see all your leads in one place. You can:
- Search by name or email
- Filter by Flow, date, or status
- View individual lead details
- Export leads as CSV
- Import leads via CSV
Lead engagement
For each lead, you can track:
- Emails sent - How many emails from Nurture Agents
- Emails opened - Which emails they opened
- Links clicked - Which links they clicked
- Last activity - When they last engaged
There is no manual status field to set on a lead today — engagement (emails sent, opened, clicked) is what tells you how warm someone is.
