Importing leads

CSV import feature

Step 1: Prepare your CSV

Required: a first name and an email address for every row.

Also recognized: last name, phone, website, and company.

First row should be headers, but you don't need to match column names exactly — the import screen lets you map each of your CSV's columns to the right field.

Example CSV:

first_name,last_name,email,company
John,Smith,john@example.com,Acme Corp

Step 2: Upload

  1. Go to /leads
  2. Click "Import Leads" button
  3. Select your CSV file
  4. Map each column to the matching field
  5. Choose which Flow to associate imported leads with
  6. Click "Import"

Step 3: Review

  • Rows missing a first name or valid email are skipped
  • Leads appear in the table once the import finishes

Deduplication: if an imported row matches an existing lead's email, Clients.ai fills in any details the existing lead was missing rather than creating a duplicate row.

Exporting leads

Export leads

  1. Go to /leads
  2. Optionally apply filters, or select specific leads with the checkboxes
  3. Click "Export"
  4. A CSV downloads immediately to your browser

Export from flow page

  1. Go to Flow details → Leads tab
  2. Export only leads from that specific Flow

CSV format

  • Includes all lead fields
  • One row per lead
  • Compatible with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
