Importing leads
CSV import feature
Step 1: Prepare your CSV
Required: a first name and an email address for every row.
Also recognized: last name, phone, website, and company.
First row should be headers, but you don't need to match column names exactly — the import screen lets you map each of your CSV's columns to the right field.
Example CSV:
first_name,last_name,email,company
John,Smith,john@example.com,Acme Corp
Step 2: Upload
- Go to /leads
- Click "Import Leads" button
- Select your CSV file
- Map each column to the matching field
- Choose which Flow to associate imported leads with
- Click "Import"
Step 3: Review
- Rows missing a first name or valid email are skipped
- Leads appear in the table once the import finishes
Deduplication: if an imported row matches an existing lead's email, Clients.ai fills in any details the existing lead was missing rather than creating a duplicate row.
